Heather Mills for UNICEF

On November 13th, Heather spoke at a UNICEF press/political function in The Hague.  Using her own experience as a Goodwill Ambassador, Heather spoke on the danger of mines, countries who are not part of the Landmine Treaty, and survivor assistance.  The speech focused on what mines are doing to families, communities, the lives of children (victims) and the humanitarian and psychological effects of mines.

The speech was to create political awareness for children in conflict areas (post conflict), and children and mines (clustermunition.)
